Professional Qualifications and Experience
I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy
I have a degree in Social Studies from the University of Hull. I qualified as a counsellor at The City University in London.
I have also taken many short courses and workshops covering areas which include Solution Focused Brief Therapy, C.B.T. (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Child Sexual Abuse, Domestic Violence and Drug Addiction. and much else.
I have forty years experience of working in a range of health and social welfare agencies.
Since 1994 I have worked as a counsellor in private practice and in a number of voluntary sector agencies, among other things.
